Hi guys
Trying to diagnose this without vagcom, picked up a 2007 audi tt mk2 with factory bluetooth and it worked for a few days. Then without warning my phone lost connection to it and no matter how many times I tried it wouldn't reconnect it was if the phone couldn't find the audi to connect to.
I tried deleting the saved entry for the car in my phone but now it cant find the car. I have restarted the phone and tried with a completely different one - neither can find it. When I press the mode or voice control buttons on the steering wheel nothing happens. The two scrolling ones still work though.
Ive been doing a bit of googling and I can't find a process for resetting the bluetooth, and it doesn't sound unheard of for the factory bluetooth to fail requiring a new module.
Bought the car from a ford dealer of all things so whilst I will push back on them I already doubt I will have any joy extracting a fix from them.
Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? Appreciated in advance ð
