Black optics pack front grill part number/pics, anyone have these handy.

Hi all, decided to change my front grill now and having had a darn good trawl through all the various front grills for my B7 , off the shelf aftermarket etc i have decided to go down the original Audi parts route.
According to my info the special editions model also came with a black optics pack which included a black front grill etc, does anyone know the part number for it and some pics of what it looks like in the flesh.
i was going to buy a used grill and get it painted but this option may be better.
I had a few numbers but they all turned out to be what i allready have , the chrome version.

any input would be great.

I'd say..just paint the actual grille pitch black,well until you decide to go RS4 heh :eyebrows:

Assuming you already have an S-Line grille - the colour of the frame is the only difference.

I've had two and had them both wrapped in vinyl.... worth considering and should be a fraction of the price of a new grille :)
 
I've got the SE black optics grill and tbh you can just paint it yourself, but my original was cracked so I bought mine. It wasn't cheap mind you, but it looks stunning now. The colour is different on the main section too. It's satin black as apposed to grey and it just looks superb. I have a link of the different types with part numbers but it is in German, but you can see the pics of the grills with the relevant part numbers. I hope that it helps you. Ahhhh, I stand corrected - was forgetting about the grey centre part :)

front looks very smart mate. I might do same with my old SE grill, I picked up a black one from FK automotive but its honeycombish in design and much prefer the OEM look (with a twist)
