That's nice Paul, Really fancy one of them, along with a perforated gearknob.

Here's today's tinkerings...

Full set of Engine covers in place, just need to replace the main cover as one of the mounts is broken...

And S4 lower grill trimmed to fit the GMBH bumper....and match my upper. Quite happy with that

Finally got my aircon working, just in time for the hottest day tomorrow.

New re-manufactured compressor fitted & system topped up, now blowing lovely cold air!

got few tasty carbon fibre morsels through today for the Avant. I thought the 3D carbon wrap looked good but it isn't a patch on the real thing. I have a spare set of the 4 door trims that are surplus to requirements if anyone is interested.

Today I replaced my seized up window wiper linkage on my B6 S4, it was a bit of a chew on and ripped my fingers to bits as there's not much room to move but saved a fortune doing it myself
The motor and linkage cost me £70 from a local Audi Dismantler, a bit pricey I thought but living in the UK I can't afford not to have no wipers!!
Least I saved money on not taking it to a dealer, always prefer to have a go myself and there are some very good detailed vids on YouTube showing you how to do it

I think that carbon trim is out of a RS4 ruffrida, I was tempted but they are hard to find and cost a fortune if you can find a complete set. Looks great Greeny!:icon_thumright:

Thanks. I'd say it took all of 30 minutes to swop it all over. It's really straight forward once you know where all the fasteners are. The door pieces, rear ash tray and gear surround literally pop off.

They are the s4 carbon trims the rs4 have a larger weave, I have rs4 ones installed and recently sold the s4 ones although they both look miles better than wrap

Well had half day so managed to sprayed two of my wheels and hoping to do the other two to tomorrow.

I might start prepping my tigerclaws and get them painted sometime. Just they're massive and I can't be really bothered lol

I've been saying for months I'd paint mine! If It was the Le Mans that are on the car I think I'd pay to have them done but the nine spoke RS4 ive done are not that bad.

doh

pop the window bung out coat hanger and pull keys up enough to touch the button threw hole??

Sprayed up the passenger side skirt, did it once yesterday but the humid weather made it dry satin, fresh lacquer today and now shiny, fitting tomorrow hopefully. Got myself a replacement front bumper without a big hole punched in it from previous owner, just cannot find a decent S4 version so opted for a better quality standard with coded valance for now.

Bradh, it's poorboys black hole, thats without poorboys sealant polish on aswel, goin give it a good hit later in the week, got me a sample of devils blood. So see how that goes

To add to the success of the Terraclean and EGR delete I had done a couple of weeks ago, I returned to SCM Remaps today for a stage 1 remap.

Power up to 159bhp, and torque up to 380Nm. I am delighted with the results.

Long as you don't ride like the organ doner that overtook me this morning right after the exit on a roundabout, overtook about 10 cars riding on the double white line into oncoming traffic. Gotta be honest most bikes I see round here are ridden by selfish brain dead idiots with no regard to their own safety or other road users ! Had a young lad on L plates overtake me while I stopped in slow moving traffic to let a transit turn right from a side road, lad on bike had no clue he was at risk and almost dropped it swerving to avoid the van. Tool.

Sound dude, what engine in the bike?

It's an 800cc three cylinder, makes about 150bhp and weights in at 175kg so it goes quite well :eek:D

Cabby - been riding for 22 years without incident (touch wood) we are not all out to kill ourselves on the road.
