Which suspension is best

Sorry but I have to disagree. The rear doesn't look too bad but the gap at the front is quite obvious and looks a little silly IMHO. There's more gap than tyre. Each to their own though and if some find the tradeoff worthwhile for the additional comfort, fair enough :)

EDIT: It might actually be the colour - I think the white emphasises the gap a little more.

Oh I'm not arguing that there isn't a trade off. I agree it looks better on the sport or s-line suspension and in an ideal world I'd take the lowest ride height and still get a luxurious ride (roll on active suspension) but for now I'm happy to compromise on ride height for comfort.

End of the day you are driving the car and not looking at the car, so ride comfort over looks all day long for me.

There are limits to how far I'm prepared to push that maxim:

Pontiac aztek 11

I am looking to getting the A3 sportback in sport trim, we test drive a sports suspension yesterday which was great, but my question is would it get ruined on speed bumps, pot holes etc?
I've test driven them all and the sport suspension is the best compromise between cornering and comfort, especially if you have a 150 or 184 engine. The slight roll in the standard suspension just feels a bit.....odd. Personal preference between the two.

DO NOT get the S-Line suspension unless you like driving a 1980s Formula 1 car, you wouldn't mind a trip to the dentist and don't mind cracked alloys. Actually, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but I had to be careful over speed bumps. Couldn't drive that every day though.

Hi all

Thanks for all your replies, decided to go for sports interior but SE suspension. So excited now :)

That's the combination I have, love it! The half leather/half alcantara seats are well worth the upgrade over the standard sports seats if you can as well, gives a much more premium feel to them.

Hi

Unfortunately could not stretch budget to leather seats, but quite happy with the silver/black option and chose Glacier White with privacy glass and the kinetic alloys :)
