Evening Audi-Sport :)

Just a quick one, I am back in the market for a new car as i'm bored of the current daily..

Made a big mistake selling my last Audi a red b6 s line

overedit_ by jd26_, on Flickr

Soooo... Ever since selling some years back now, its been regretted!

I am looking at all sorts but the b7 s line seems a natural progression (even if the interior is basically identical to the b6 )

Seen a few b7 s-lines so far which look good.. however a few of them look like they sit a lot lower standard at the rear than the front...is this normal?

I don't remember my b6 being like this standard but it was a longgg time back..

Not 100% if one of them is quattro or fwd but all the examples i've been looking at have been 2.0tfsi if it makes a difference.

Thanks for the help :)

Mine sits uneven in h and r springs, not quattro 2.0 tfsi. I'm planning to fit b6 front spring cups which should even it out I've been told. Fingers crossed as it will only get worse in my avant with a load on!

interesting! maybe just the way they are from factory and that some ads I have seen don't have clear enough photos.

I fully intend to go down the coilover route if/when I do get back in one so not a huge issue just making sure nothing is a-miss :)

The b7 is basically a different body ontop of a b6 chassis. As for the internal things its practically the same just slightly different cluster/dials otherwise its almost the same. It is normal that the rear sits lower especially the quattros seem to make it more noticeable.

My a4 b6 1.8t 190 was lower on the rear than the front as well. But this is easily fixed.

Hope this helps

Thank you guys.

So this is definitely not down to worn out rear suspension...?

Quite likely I'd fit coil overs with time but it like it to atleast sit straight till then :/

Typo above. B5 model a4 front spring perches/cups. They are the ones you would need, b6 would be the same as you have currently. Sorry for the mistake, no sleep with newborn baby has turned my brain to mush!
