I've just bought my new rims, I went for 18 inch bbs ch reps for now in Matt black and I am going to be buying my coilovers this week.

Does anyone have views whether to go for the bilsteins or the spax rsx's, my heads saying bilsteins but my wallet, and the fact the spax lower to 65mm instead of the bilsteins 50mm, is making me think spax. The bilsteins in my opinion will be better but I could do with some info.

bilsteins mate...they are just better.. and the confidence you get is awesome... im running B14 atm and to be able to trun in the wet on a 60-70deg. corner at 60mph is great and thats a one lane with high curbs on each end.. they are just that good...

you get what you pay for

Does anyone have any pics of the s3 lowered 50mm on 18's by the bilstein b14, not sure it will look low enough only dropping by the 50mm quoted by bilstein.

If you want lows consider the H&R Still static coils. They are based on a Bilstein shocks with H&R internals. They do various lows including a completely ridiculous 140mm kit.

Consider them is you want a low alternative.

What he said.. I can vouch for them being absolutely insanely ridiculously comfy too, you'll never come across such a good coilover.

I ended up going balls deep and getting the bilstein coilivers.. so I should be fitting them in the next week or so.
