Thanks Sandra, I cant believe the difference from the 184 diesel, just as far as overall feel is concerned. The car sits so flat on corners and just feels right. I'm getting on a bit and up to now the best car I ever had was a Prodrive Imprezza STi but the S3 is really impressive so far. But hey, I've only had it for a day.

I might just sleep in it tonight...................................

That is so nice. Shame that wasn't an option when I ordered. :sob:

Did you manage to paint your hubs?

I was so knackered after spending he whole day on hand and knees cleaning an glazing the car, sadly I didn't have the energy left to do the wheels. But rest assured the hubs will be done and the wheels waxed within a couple of days.

Sepang is an amazing colour agreed but you did get a good discount on exclusive Estoril blue mate!

I'm not so sure about the red callipers, but loving the colour. Prefer misano myself on the S3 (obviously!) but had sepang on my TTRS, very nice colour on any Audi IMO :sm4:

beautiful Steve. Are you planning any changes? Alloys?

Not at the moment, being retired I need to be conscious of what I spend on. I quite like the standard alloys, I did think about 19" but I've been there in the past and feel for my local roads it's a step too far.

For The Challinor I'll take some pics of hubs before and after, but they will look similar. It's just a case of preventing them from corroding in the future.

beautiful colour, car looks great

Thanks mate, just noticed a few people have painted theirs and its something that I'd think of doing.

Lol, i can just see you sleeping in the car in a sleeping bag, and waking up in the morning with all the aches and pains. Any more pics yet Steeve? :) x

Your new car looks great, enjoy!

I look forward to reading a little comparison/review in a few weeks when you have a few miles up on the S3.

^this!

Wasn't sure about the red callipers myself, but that looks great!
What interior did you go for?

The red calipers and that paint are the business!

If Sepang was available on non-S3 models I'd have had it in a heartbeat, looks so amazing. Can see why they keep it for the S3 really :)

I like looking at this colour briefly, but wouldn't want to own a blue car again.
Dealer had a RS4 in Sepang and looked nice, but as an ownership prospect, not for me.

In my opinion, regarding your car - it's too much blue.
Cant help but think the roof rails would have added to the look by breaking up the blue a bit.
