I had that Locked issue with my A4 with the earlier MMI set up, which used the DVD player for Sat Nav but the new ones use SD Cards don't they, so one would not have thought it should lock?
Will try mine in the morning
Switch car off and listen to it , you will hear it stop spinning after a minute or so , press eject then and it will eject , not best solution but at least you will get the cd out
Yeah the older 8P RNS-E nav units used a DVD for the nav data and they locked the eject function to prevent theft during transit (apparently loads were being stolen en-route from Germany). It should have been unlocked again during the PDI but loads of dealers forgot about it.
On the 8V the nav data is either on SD card or the internal hard disk so no disc is supplied in the drive so there's no reason it should be locked really.
