Just looking around for the vw quantum platinum oil for my golf & probably use it on my a4 now as I've changed to fixed interval oil changes.
In the past I've bought it from a local vw dealer off the shelf for under £30, just got a price today and its £36 and needs to be ordered in.
I've seen the oil on eBay Audi/VW Quantum PLATINUM / PD Oil - 5 Litres 5 40 - 5w/40 | eBay
Quite a bit cheaper, but anything I should be wary of???... I'm an untrusting sod lol
Also my a4 was on long life until I purchased it (up to 120k miles) I take it its ok to use the platinum instead of longlife seeing as I'll probably change it every 6k miles and less than a year..
