Common diff issue?

Just seen this advert with reference to a common differential issue which affects these cars.
Audi S3 Quattro 5dr S Tronic 2.0

It's the first time I've heard of it, so am just being curious as to anyone else who might know what the problem is?

(the advert only came to my attention due to me not having cancelled my alerts within Autorader from when I was looking for my car at the start of the year)

Having done a but more digging, it seems a few owners are changing the diff oil in the rear as a maintenance item, even though it's supposedly sealed for life.
The garage which sorted my haldex last week changed both the haldex and the diff oil as they thought the diff oil should be done as the vehicle has done over 50k.
I'm quite pleased I listened to them and had it sorted, might be worthwhile to help any potential diff problems.
