I will keep this simple :)

Any buying advice?

First mods choices?

Wanting around 300bhp, doable for a daily or not?
 
The usual buying advice for mk1s, check cambelt/water pump change, check dashpod for any dodgy readings (could be around 800 to repair)
Mod wise I'm not too sure on for the QS, but if you head to the TTForum.co.uk or join the TTOwners Club there will be guys there with more knowledge on QS's than me
