well as of a few days ago i now have a whiney car, so got a feeling the PAS pump is on its way out :( as i think i have a problem with my turbo too, as had the car on idle last week and noticed some smoke coming out of the engine bay looked around and couldnt find where it was coming from untill 2 days ago when i had to change my battery and thought i would have a poke around and took my airbox off and was coming from the TIP :( so must mean there is oil getting in somewhere, the car doesnt seem to be using any oil tbh after checking so what could cause this? all comes at once aswell got my MOT next month and got a knocking from the front and the airbag light is on aswell and got my insurance renewal next month too and im uber skint :( so looks like im going to be carless till i can afford to get it sorted as i know itll fail the MOT on my headlights too as they point right down and i cant manually adjust them :(

going to be a bad few months for me

hope someone can help

cheers

Iain

Might just be a breather issue mate feeding oil into the tip?
What won't your headlights adjust?
Surely your knocking is just a drop link or something?

think its both balljoints for the banging, so will get them when i get paid, and my headlights dont self level due to a faulty switch i think it is, so tried manually adjust them to raise them and the dont move, never thought of a breather issue tbh, shall check that tomoz, its not alot of smoke tbh.

cheers :)

theres a level sensor on both the front and rear of the car, front is on the wishbone and the rear on the diff cage, could be one of them, can you get vagcom on the car?

had it checked a few months ago, and i think it said something about passenser side rear sensor is nakerd, but nothing on the drivers side. and that doesnt move when turned on either

not sure what you mean, but if this is relating to the headlights there is only one sensor for the front and one for the rear, so if you have been told the rear sensor is knackered, thats the issue

nope one at the back and one at the front, they work them both together
