Connect help!

I appreciate their have been numerous threads on this topic but I am a bit stuck with my audi connect system. I have purchased a 30 day EE sim. I've inserted in to the mmi and on my screen it shows the LTE letters. I've driven around with it in since Sunday when I collected the car and have not seem a 3G or 4G logo at any point. When I go to connect or any online features I get told the seer OCD is not abailable. (Following a long search!).

Any suggestions?
 
Let me clear that last line up... I get the message the server is not available!

Is the SIM card activated?
 
How annoying!!
I guess you do not have any other sim which is the correct size that you can put in to try?
Or any phone you can put the sim in to check?
I am sure you would have done if you did...
I guess if you look at the data used menu it will say zero?
Are you sure the LTE letters refer to the Sim in the MMI and not the phone you are using.. Sorry if these are obvious questions but I am trying to go through the steps. I have three symbols, one for Bluetooth, one for the Phone strength, on for the Car Sim which has two bars out of 4 and a 3 G and symbol above it
I have just taken the sim out and I get the message Data Service is not available, please insert a SIM card
Put the sim back in and I get message the list of services is being updated please wait with the spinning wheel

I had a problem when I first got my car getting on the net. I had to manually put in all the log in cellular data for that particular network to get it to work. If that makes sense?
 
I'm certain the sim is active I was told I didn't need to do anything in the store when I purchased it. Also the the counter for for data transfer shows a small amount has been sent which again makes me think it's working.

I will take a picture of the symbols I'm getting.

I got that earlier today - was trying to call up an online destination in MyAudi.

Not sure if it's a new? myAudi related problem - other stuff such as Google Earth when navigating, online traffic and petrol stations has been working fine as far as I'm aware.
