Hi,

Im going to be following the below guide tonight to enable to the use of a jack lead with my stereo but I believe that enabled the aux port cannot be done on certain generations of stereo.

DIY: Aux Input for Symphony II+

its got a 6CD Changer and is a Audi Symphony as the pic below shows. It doesn't have MP3 support when playing CD's thought but has the silver knobs for volume and tuning etc.

Help is appreciated

That's a Symphony II+, the regular II has a cassette slot. Is that what you mean by "what stereo"?

Sorry I meant what model. As I couldn't find anything at all on google to show which one it was.

Do all Symphony II+ have mp3 support? Or does it have to be switched on with VAGCOM?

If there is a difference between individual models, then it'll show in the serial number/model code or whatever it is... the part number basically. I think it should be on a sticker on the back/side of the unit. The various RNS-Es have codes end in different letters that show which has SDS support etc, so I'd imagine the Symphonys do too.

What those codes are, or if all of them support MP3 I don't know, sorry.

Thanks mate

Any one know if I can enable Aux in on this then beings as its a Symphony 2+ ??
