In a further bid to find out the cause of my boost issues, i made a log, now i just need an expert to tell me what they see wrong. I did a 3rd gear sprint to the limiter.

i wasnt aware the car was mapped although its becoming apparent now. i was talkig to a local VAG tuner and he says i should replace the fuel pump?

heres another log

Injector Duty Cycle

ie 100% is injector pegged open, no more fuelio, so if egt protection needed to kick in there's no fuel left to deliver it, and your actual afr is not meeting the requested anyhows.. Weak pumps getting very common now these cars are getting older, and made worse by some maps requiring 4bar fpr which only makes a weak pump delivery LESS fuel!

Ah ok. Understood. So do you reckon a new fuel pump is the solution?

Yeah ok, :) my local audi dealer has quoted me €410 for a new one. Can anyone suggest somewhere more reasonably priced to buy one?

confirming fuel pressure not holding whilst under boost is what we would do at this point, confirms fuel delivery issue, but logs also would support this, seeing 001 go additive lots and 031 actual lambda not being achieved, whilst watching injector on time on 002 go to max, all suggests pump is not up to it

Thanks everyone. I ordered a new pump today. Will do more logging after I install it

ok so i installed a new fuel pump today and logged the same blocks again. opinions needed...

Well a big thanks to everyone is in order! This had been an ongoing problem since i bought the car and now it is finally solved. Ive replaced practically every component on my car at this stage trying to remedy it and in the end all i needed to do was make some logs and get an expert to read them! I fired it up from cold this morning and there was no hesitation and i was able to boost hard as soon as i hit the road (not that i will be doing that)

When i went to replace the fuel pump, i took the old one out and compared it to the new unit and it was different. I felt like crying, The one that was in the car didnt have the pipe that goes across to the other side of the tank. Then i realised that the pipe was just hanging in the tank!! So the replacement pump has the relevant pipe to connect to it. The previous owner needs to be shot.

Thanks everyone for your help!
