Water flowing out a pipe :(

As per the title really, my a3 has developed a leak. The pipe is the metal one which goes from the expansion tank all the way round to the heater pipes with lots of other connections off it. Does this look about right? 06A121065AJ
It's leaking in 2 places and looks like it'll fall apart if I try and repair it.

Just spoken to tps and they have it in stock and want 100 quid for the pipe. I'm tempted to bodge it now lol
 
If it's only carrying hot water and you dont need any special junctions or shapes, you could get the internal bore and get something from a boat chandlers?

Completely different unfortunately. Ordered one from my local vw garage now. 108 in total
 
Well what a royal pain in the *** this is turning out to be. The rubber pipes are properly glued onto the metal pipe, the oil breather system falls apart in my hands and I'm still no closer to getting this stupid pipe out :(

P.s. It's the one which starts above the alternator. Goes down around the front of the block (behind absolutely everything) and ends up going to a pipe by the turbo which goes to the heater matrix.
 
This happend to my pipe a few months back, i just cut out the t section then i joined a t-piece using some highttemp silicone water pipe

Well the new pipe is in now. All the attached pipes had glued themselves onto it so I ended up cutting them off lol
 
Meh. Finally got the car back together after breaking an oil breather pipe. It seems sluggish and hesitant to boost if at all now. I think I've blown the head gasket even though the temp never went over 90 on the way home. Either way it's slow now. Even the dump is quieter.
 
Was there an electrical connector to replace on inlet manifold?

Everything was plugged back where it should be, what are those sensors bolted to the front of the block?
 
I thought so, it's not bolted up tight currently. I must have missed that, would it matter if which way up they go?
 
New inlet gasket coming today but the old one looked ok
 
I think it's just slow in the first place, still not dumping as loud as it was. Top speed is a touch over 120mph currently.
