So I saw one of these yesterday in the flesh.

I was very impressed, it looked really good.

Anyone thinking of getting one or seen one too?

I believe the S3 Saloon is due out soon too, so looking forward to seeing that on the road.

Similar in size to a B5 saloon apparently, which is right up your street Nilzy, I still prefer Estates/Avants or just hatchbacks over a Saloon.

Yes it was mate, just slightly smaller, but looked very sleek.

I wouldnt mind an avant though, S or RS4 would defo be on my list

Wow, I like that ALOT!!!

The shape of the car is very nice and the quad tailpipes really do set it off!!

Looks somewhat like a baby RS4.

One of the nicest colours the saloon, not necessarily a S3, can come in. It is a bit like the Ford performance blue...

If this is from the Detroit Auto Show today then it is Sepang Blue.

Correct. It is sepang blue. Sprint blue is a lot paler and neither colours look like ford performance blue, racing blue mica is closer to ford blue.

Sepang blue is not a standard colour for the S3 saloon (at the moment), so I take it this is a special colour which you would pay through the nose for if available?

It is now!
It appeared on the Audi Configurator in the last week or so; same price as other metallics though they describe it as Sepang Blue Pearl Effect. They are in the process of updating the brochure with that and a few other minor changes (like the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System is now standard), so at the moment you can't download the brochure. Maybe it will appear on the Audi site this week.
I've now changed my order from Glacier White to Sepang Blue; still for September delivery I'm assured.
