Hi, are there any threads on here regarding any service info? ie part numbers? best oils? oil capacity?

My 2005 A4 B7 is about to hit 60k so i figure ill give it a service. Also going to get a new cam belt kit and waterpump fitted.

If anyone's got any tips or info it'd be appreciated.

Thanks

I use quantum oil with genuine filters, will try and find the part numbers tomorrow for you.

IIRC it takes 3.8ltrs of oil, 5w30 for longlife and 5w40 for annual services.

They take 4.5 litres of oil. I personally use the recommended castrol oil, change it every 8k miles.
As for filters, I get good trade discount at euro car parts so I get the Bosch filters.

Just ordered a 4ltr bottle of Castrol Edge and also going to get a Bosch filter from ECP.

Anyone have an idea how much coolant the system will take from empty? I understand i should use G13?

You would be correct in using G13. Thou it is strongly advised to trying flush the system completely before applying the new coolant.

I suggest you buy the product from Audi themself or from ebay its around £8-13.

Part number - G013A8JM1

It will take about 6 litres of liquid. That said you will need 2 bottles as the bottles come in 1.5 litres and should only be diluted with distilled water. To get maxium effectiveness

If i go to Euro Car Parts they say this is the stuff i need...
