S3 Sedan Rubber floor mats

Here is my thread from another posting:

Been doing some research regarding genuine Audi rubber mats for the front and rear of my A3 saloon, and have been informed by my dealer that there are two part numbers for the rear mats:

8V0 061 512 041 - Rubber mats, rear (Sportback & Saloon) - Fastening type: With no securing points
Remarks: Pollutant-free rubber compound

8V5 061 512 041 - Rubber mats, rear (Sportback & Saloon) - Fastening type: 2-point fastening
Remarks: TPE mats (plastic). 100% recyclable

As you can see, the second set have securing points, though I don't know if they are in the same position as the original carpet mat fixings. Also, they appear to be TPE plastic, but not having seen them, I don't know how close to rubber this material is?

The front rubber mats for the Sportback and Saloon have securing points, and the part number is 8V2 061 501 041

Has anyone got the plastic rear mats and, if so, how 'rubbery' are they, and are the securing points in the same place as the original carpet mats?

just picked up a full set of mats and they have the A3 logo on, when i guy took the details down you can obviously see its a S3!!
assume there are no rubber S3 mats............ which is crap

There's only one solution - you'll have to change your car back to an A3 !!

But seriously it seems strange that they are not available ... or do Audi think that only A3 owners go anywhere where there is muck and mud?

Isn't an S3 an A3?! I bought some rubber front mats for my S3 and yes, they have A3 stamped on them. I sort of thought, hmm... but does it matter? No, it's just something to rest my dirty boots on. Having said that, the quality is borderline and the grooves in it trap stones. Not bad for £37 a pair

I have the parade red and the front floor mats come with red piping however in south africa i couldnt get the rear mats to match. In fact it doesnt even have rear mats and its not even an option. Does anybody know where i can order them?
