Did you? I've never seen another set. Only seen a set on an older A4 I found online (pics further up this thread)!

AWESOME car dude! someone is breaking a 190hp BEX and has the 312mm up for grabs (in the classifieds section).

Cheers man! Yeah I've already contacted him and he's going to post pictures of them at some point. I'm quite interested in them!

Yeah lower on the front ~10-15mm! Evens up the stance because my car is riding high on the front haha!

Tint vinyl was utter s**t! Tried my indicators and it wouldn't bend round the corners then done my rear light below. Looks good in the picture but wasn't so great in person so I whipped it back off! No loss for £1.97 haha!

EDIT: I think it looks great in the picture, a little dark though! Maybe try out some tinting spray next!

Ah I see :) the front being higher than the back is OK, this shifts some of the weight to the back and is good IMO for nose-heavy, understeering FWD A4s such as ours :)

Anyway, glad you have good roads to ride low :arco:

The roads still aren't great haha. So I'm only lowering the rear 10mm and the front ~20mm and keeping comfortable 235/40 tyres on 18's :D

No crazy lows or massive wheels. I must be getting old haha!

I've noticed the links for the pictures from a few posts ago have broke, so I've re-uploaded some of them! Should receive my new front 312mm set-up and rear disc and pads this week :D!

Looks good mate, I picked some s4 rims up sat from up near Perth, nice drive up from edinburgh.

Quick question, how are you going to lower it that way, b5 perches on standard sport suspension for the front and springs on the rear?

Cheers man. I quite like the S4 wheels! Eibach Pro springs all round with the B5 perches on the front mate! Front will lower approximately 20mm dependant on how my car take to the eibachs and b5 perches as it can vary a little bit.

Not much been happening here for a while. Car has just been serviced and a new front drivers side wheel bearing has been fitted. Gave it a full clean the other day so here is a quick picture outside work of the cleanzz.

Cars looking spot on.
You're cracking on with sorting it, unlike me!
When I bought mine I needed to change headlight switch, replace 1 or possibly 2 rear parking sensors and I've done none of those!
Instead, I've had to replace the front pads as they were cheap tat that was knocking a lot.. But before I realised it was that I replaced a shot looking front control arm which didnt fix the knock obviously!!!, then drivers window regulator went.
Now the airbag light is on,...
First up though, I'm going to get the cambelt done, that's nearly 4 years old.
Cars....gotta love um

I see you've debadged the rear, mine was already done, I was actually toying with getting some to put back on. Not sure though

Cheers man! Don't worry mate I have a long list too! Two rear shockers, 4 wheel alignment, bigger brakes upfront and new discs & pads on the rear to be fitted. New CTS and thermostat. Think I might have an oil leak too... My car was also already debadged when I got it!

That reminds me, my pd130 mk4 golf isn't holding the temp like it should now too... Looks like that may need as new temp sensor!

Yeah mate either that or the thermostat. Mine never rises above 70!

Doesn't rise above 70 Celsius (on a mid-long run)? I don't think that's right.. as long as it's not below 0, it should get to 90" Celsius after 2-3miles!

I myself am almost out of the "**** never ends" club after replacing belts+water pump, all of my dampers+springs, entire front suspension + rear stabilizer bar links and bushings, B7 320mm discs+pads+calipers..

Mine gets to 90 after about 5 miles or so, then will drop down on occasion & bob back up.
Car still runs fine & mpg is still OK.
Lowlife... Sounds like you've been having fun with all that!! Must be like a new car now... Nearly the cost of one too I bet!
I'm dreaded mot time with both my cars!
After changing the front lower front control arm I noticed most of the rubbers are showing their age now!!!! And my golf had a few suspension related advisories last year....

For sure, I changed everything shortly after getting it (labor is pretty cheap here compared to the UK) and MAN it feels like a new car. What's worth mentioning (this is something I've read online and makes sense to me) is that the durability of a part (shock absorber, control arm, bushing, link) depends on the other parts' state.. bad shock absorbers will drain the life out of your new expensive Lemforder/TRW control arms quicker.

ruffrida: I want to add that low coolant levels can also have this effect if you're in a cold climate (if you're in Miami I don't think it would drop below 120 :D). It happened on my other car (which doesn't have a low coolant level warning, I think the B6 does).. if your temp is fluctuating and your heating doesn't work properly, this can definitely be part of the problem.

yeh know where you coming from but be warned that the coolant sensor on the B6 will only go of at very min level, and i mean you can only just see it in the bottom of the bottle

Would be nice to clock in these miles when this tank is empty! Literally couldn't fit anymore diesel into it!

Not sure if I'm 100% for it but I'll do the rest and live with it for a while and see how I like it!
