Hi Guys,
Opinions please so yesterday the Mrs picked me up from the station in the S3 as it was raining, when we got back, she opened the drivers side window while parking (don't ask!) and then yes you guessed it window would not go up again! And it was peeing it down.
Like a F1 pit crew I had the door card off, and removed the window motor and moved the window back up. And left it there as it was peeing it down still.
Had a look today and checked the window regulator and all seems ok, no Broken cables the window clips look ok too so not the usual problems. So when you move the window up and down by hand all seems ok, the regulator moves as it should so I lubricanted the runners and reconnected the window motor and it worked perfectly on the way down but nothing when trying to move up again except a clicking noise from the motor, I removed the motor and if you press the down button it seems to work fine, press the up button nothing happens apart from the clicking noise.
Sorry for the long post have you guys had a similar problem or reckon it's the motor?
Cheers
