So is it worth getting a das6 or pro to remove scratches and swirling or are you just best leaving it to the experts looking to invest in one of these but just weighing up the pros and cons

That is up to you in the end but if you do I'd go for the Das6 pro. I got one and enjoy using it as the results are great. I also got a practise panel first before I went near my car

I was worried about using one,i bought an old bonnet from a scrap yard to practice on,same machine dash pro.astounding machine and results are amazing so easy to use, just watch a few vids on you tube and your be well away.used on my van yesterday to apply cherry glaze amazed by results Image 2

Definitely worth the investment mate.
It's not as hard to do as people fear and as long as you take your time and do your research first, it's pretty safe.
Plenty of advice on detailing world.
I bought one and the finish you can get is unbelievable, providing the prep is done correctly too.
It's hard work as takes a long old time to do a whole car but as long as your patient it's definitely worth it!

Don't get the DAS6, get the pro version.

The standard version just does not have the power for Audi / VAG clear coat in my experience. The pro has more powerful motor and with the right pad / polish combo will remove swirl.
