Paint code help please. Please read

Hi I'm looking at getting some paint for my a3, the sticker says lz5c/lz5c when I google that i can't get a straight answer, that paint code is bringing up..
•Ocean blue
•mauratisblau
•mauratis blue
•mauratis blue pearl
Lz5c/2y

I can't get my head around what my car actually is because of all this confusion over that code. Can anyone on here help? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1399925017862452
 
Not a lot of help I'm sure, but mine in pic is definitely Mauritius blue pearl if that helps by comparison! Yours looks slightly duller but that may just be the light? I'm probably talking crap here but isn't the paint option code in amongst the rest of the option codes if you out that into a translator, I can't remember if I saw my paint option when I tried that one time but I thought I had!

Was your paint code lz5c on the stickers or did it state that its pearl some how with another code? That's what's confusing me. I just need sumone to confirm lz5c is bog standard mauritis blue. Or does that code cover pearl and metalic?
 
Hmm do you recon I should go and get it chipped just to be sure? Paints expensive and id hate to waste time and money on the wrong paint lol
 
I am a sprayer I will pop that code into my digital scales and see what comes up.
 
Comes up as mauritiusblau.

There are 5 variants.

Standard
+green
+intense+green
+light
+light+cleaner.

I'll check after work tonight and let you know mate - I think pearlescent will be a seperate code to normal obviously so should shed light on it
 
If that is the code on your car then the paint you get mixed will be right. The names can vary. Some people get confused between pearl and metallic.

Just give the company your code and they will give you the correct paint.
