What's wrong with lamb?! I bet all you eat is chicken...

its too strong in flavour, often fatty and greasey! just don't dig it! sorry!
and no, in an indian sometimes beef (but proper indian restaraunts would not do beef, takeaways do, weather real beef or not ) but yes mainly chicken! i have yet to see ostrich and wilderbeast! but would try it!

Must admit when it comes to Indians, it's chicken for me too.
Chinese has to be Beef or prawn.
Its 7am I've just finished nightshift and now I've got a hankering for takeaway. Damn it!! :sob:

Morning,

Same here westy.
Had enough of chicken at home and in takeaways. sticking with mainly lamb but if they did other meats I'll try it.
I like Lamb, better texture than chicken and better flavour.

I wonder if Inters will have that alternative meat van this year.

Morning all, sorry for the late reply it was a busy evening!!

We ended up having a Pizza....a Bombay Surprise with spicy Chicken on it.....local place called Caspians do it, they are awesome!!

May have Indian tonight, mainly veg as the Wife is vegetarian.

Probably going to have some Chilli Paneer, has anyone tried it - its awesome!!

As for the Lamb convo from yesterday, have a read of this guys:

BBC News - Lamb curries and kebabs 'often another meat'

I dont mind eating other meats, but it would be nice to know what you are having, coming from a Hindu background, alot of my family dont eat Beef and I know they would be very disappointed if they were to find out that they did eat it, obviously if its out of their hands then there is not much they can do about it, but I know they would not eat it knowingly.

I rarely eat lamb when I am out, unless they are lamb chops or Sheesh Kebabs, otherwise I prefer to stick to Chicken and Veg nowadays, mainly beacuse I find it too fatty or not ****** well enough as I like it very tender.

Scott, havent seen that film, not even heard of it to be honest.

Was thinking of watching Pompeii, until someone told me the story including the ending of it as well....lol!!

Weather is cr4p in Brim this morning, tipping it down, got drenched on the school run and then the roof started leaking above my desk in the office too!!

It's chucking it down for most of the country today I think. I want a heat wave.

Pompeii has been getting some awful reviews, I'd steer clear if I was you. I want to see Bad Neighbours, that's looks really funny.

Bad Neighbours does look good, thats defo on the watch list.

I still need to start watching Breaking Bad though!!!

Apparently the west mids is meant to have temps of 25+ towards the end of the month....lets hope so, as it will tie in well with my Bday and a booked few days off too :)

I've still not watch breaking bad yet either!

I hope that forecast is right. I'm in Liverpool for a stag do last weekend of May.

Awww you two!
You really need to get on the breaking bad band wagon! Its amazing! I have watched it twice now its that good! Picking out bits that i missed first time around because the plot is so good!
Anyway, how is everybody?
I am working all weekend so could be better, but, just been out in garden and noticed that the swifts (birds) have returned, so this makes me happy as that means summertime has officially started!
I hope its a scorcher like last year, particularly inters!
That was one hot weekend! Coming home in the avant the temperature on the DIS was 32'!
More of that again please!

Yeah i hammered it first time around in a similar sort of time Dave!
Sometimes watched 4 or 5 episodes off the bat, and 8 Stella down tended to miss a lot of things watching it through one eye lol!
Second time around i could take my time and absorb it all in over a longer time!
Try it mate! I was gutted too when i finished it!

Game of Thrones is epic Westy, can't recommend it enough.
As you say its plenty full off tits and ***, some seriously fine *** at that. Lol.

I just think its really well written and acted, loads of twists and turns and ***.
If your into your fantasy fiction, this ticks the boxes.
I've been recording the 4th season, so that I can have a massive GoT day with the Mrs.

I must admit I'm a Breaking Bad virgin too, theres just so much stuff to watch these days.
What about the Sopranos, thats an amazing series.
I'm loving The Blacklist too at the moment.

Morning All,

Just started watching Breaking Bad after all the hype on the net and talk around the office.
I think we are 2/3 weeks in and on Series 4, Skyler just died, so that's a bonus. I hated that *****!!

Breaking Bad is epic and you need to get on it.

Mrs really likes GoT. I could never get in to it. I just tumblr all the tits and *** gifs.

Not sure what to watch after Breaking Bad.
Netflix have not caught up with How I Met Your Mother, NCIS, Hawaii 5-0 or Big Bang yet and they don't have Agents of Shield.

That's another 4 day week over with. Whens the next one?
Got to fix the 8 today as I snapped a coolant pipe, fit some more LEDs and I'm finally getting round to building my desk tomorrow. Can't wait, I can finally catch up on soldering/building jobs I got hanging around.

Anyone interested in my Roof box or a LG 5.1 system? :)

Any time mate.

Question for the people who have seen breaking bad.
Does Walt ever get over the loss of his hand?
How is meant to cook meth now?

Cheers Scott,
you've saved me countless hours now watching Breaking Bad(if you weren't joking that is)

Just in case you haven't seen Star Wars, Darth is actually Lukes father, and in Sixth Sense, Bruce Willis is actually dead!!!!

Any more spoilers???

Erm..........In lost they are all dead, the island is limbo.

Happy Monday all.

Scott, I'm joking. I would not give spoilers to such a good show.
Don't do what I did and google the charters to find out who played them, you tend to find spoilers that you did not want to know.

How is everyone?
Got up to much?

I finally build my desk in what was the box room, its now my office.

Basic frame in place.

Centre support cause its 6 foot wide and did not want to take the risk of it bending and snapping in the middle.

Work top on.

In and tidied.

Shame the ****** PC don't work :(

Cheers dude, thought you might be having a jest.
Yeah, I've made that spoiler mistake myself on IMdB many times.

Well thats Monday over and done with, thankfully, wasn't too bad minus the torrential rain all day, I love the Scottish summers.

I've been thinking off trading my motor for something a bit bigger A4/A5 size,
Being 6'8" its not the most graceful thing getting in and out the A3, think Giraffe through a letter box. Lol
So I went in to the garage I bought it from last March and they told me its dropped 3 grand. :wtf:
I know a trade in will always be less than a private sale, but come on, thats extracting the urine surely.

It's put my awesome plans back a bit, I must admit, shame coz I've seen a really nice A4 S line, but its stretching the budget now.
Might have to rethink my stategy. Grrr.

Still, won't stop me from looking.

Hope alls well with everybody else, soon be Friday.

P.S.
Sorry about the reply at the start, tried to use Scotts' quote, just didnt want to re-use the photos, wasn't sure how to do that.
Nice job on the table Scott, it always feels good to actually make something rather than just buy it in.

Yeah I know Chez.
Its weird because my mam is only about 5 foot, but we did have a very tall postman back in the day. Mmm I wonder.
It does have its advantages and disadvantages, I've never been I.D'd even when we were young buyin MD 2020 and Merrydown. Lol.

The disadvantages are things like door frames in strange houses, and little kids pointing and saying " look mummy, theres a giant "
to which I like to reply "yes I am, and I like to eat nosy little kids"

So you can imagine my dilema in a small 3dr, think I might have to go with Karls idea.

Get a A8 mate, Its the only car I've driven where I don't have to put the seats all the way back to be comfy.

Congrats DomH.
