Is there any way to have the volume on the radio automatically lower when the parking sensors activate like Ford cars do? I`ve had a quick look around but cant seem to find a way to do it, which I`m guessing answers my question but hopefully someone will know if it can be done?

Thanks

Chris

Ah ok, I dont have the RNSE, mine was a concert and I had setting in my DIS that I could change the settings to increase or decrease the volume of the parking sensors so it could be easily heard over the radio, I now have an after market head unit which mutes the stereo in order to hear the beeps of the sensors and switches to reverse camera all automatically, I am sure the RNSE experts on this forum will be along shortly to give advice

Ah ok thanks, the only settings I can see were to turn the volume an pitch up and down for the front and rear sensors.

On my 2011 S3, the Parking beep volume can be adjusted in the DIS.

With factory rear parking sensors and MK2 RNSE the volume lowers in reverse, but it only seems to do it at louder volumes so I've only heard it do it on a couple of occasions.

I've never seen a setting for it, and consider myself well versed in the settings/ menus etc.

Press the pdc button, rns should display the car icon & then there will be a settings button to press for tone & volume for front & rear.

Likewise, only does it when the sound is up higher than normal. Doesn't do it any other time.

Using 8P0 919 475 C module, probably doesn't make a difference.
