Changed my wiring harness on the drivers door plug it up put everthing back together and sill the windows don't work I have used a volt meter thing to check if there's any power going to window nothing at all everything is reading 12v then checked the main plug behind the kick panel next to the throttle pedal and there's no reading of the brown wire but fine of everthing else I don't have a clue about electrics hope that makes sense to someone lol any help would be much appreciated

The brown wire is the earth, without that nothing will work. Trace that and repair any breaks. I did my friends b6 a couple of days ago, everything had stopped working on the drivers door. Found 4 or 5 broken wires which needed repairing then everything started working.
