Anyone seen the soon to be released Z4 Coupe? Wow. What a sontrast to the one series
Now that is far sexier than any Alfa! I always liked it in roadster form but this is something else. Could do with a few more ponies but you just know BMW are itching to M badge it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Have a look here

Please book and see your doctor asap, its not naural to like bmw's you are a Audi man through and through just keep telling yourself this before its too late and you go and do something silly, like forget where the indicators are on your Audi vors sprung thingy technique and stuff, If your catholic please say 20 hail marys as you in big trouble with the man above at the moment. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/book.gif

I know, the stigma of owning a BMW is almost as bad as say a Skoda. Nothing wrong with the engineering but could I live with it? Oh, and it's £37k with some toys in it.

I agree, however I liked the old Z3M coupe, for anyone that doesn't know what he's talking about-

Fine car and I'm sure the new Z4 coupe will be an improvement! Can't wait to see it pitched against the boxter or even cayman! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif

I've been drooling over this car as well this past week. I think it looks great. Has a kind of retro feel to it. Now that my fiance dumped me 4 months ago, I'll go for a 2 seater like this as my next car since kids definitely won't be on the cards for a while /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I also like it but can't help but think theres better out there for the same money, and not BMWs to boot.

Ok his standards have dropped, but that is really shoving the knife in /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I personally think the Z4 coupe looks good too (sorry, hail mary's coming up), but couldn't believe the price! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Never mind the car, what a dreadful advert /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bang.gif

I love it. It is gorgeous. And since test driving the 3.0 Roadster on Tuesday, I've been having doubts about ordering the new TT. Sitting so low and far back in a car is wicked! And that straight 6 is fantastic. £37K is a bit much though. I would wait a go for a second hand one (perhaps a 3.4 Alpina version - although the body kit is a bit 1980's in my eyes).

I test drove the 3.2 TT at the weekend in DSG form, and I thought the engine was a bit pants. But that was probably down to the hopeless DSG box that didn't know what the hell it was doing half the time (and the useless test route Audi Worcester choose to take people on).

The switchtronic (or whatever it's called) on the Beemer was far better - more aggressive in normal mode. With the DSG I had to switch to sport mode to get it to kick down properly, but then of course it wouldn't shut the hell up (change up) when I eased off the accelerator. Needless to say, I haven't ordered S Tronic on the TT.

I'll stick with the TT, as I don't trust myself with so much power and RWD - not experienced enough, and a bit aggressive / fire and forget kind of driver. I think I scared the BMW salesman a little as it is.
