hi guys,

had my dpf removed few months ago but noticed the smell of the car is pretty bad now that i open the windows due to summer months.

i know the guy said the 2009 model does not have a cat convertor as standard as they replaced this with a dpf then in 2010 they put in both.

does this mean the gas is very dangerious for my health as no cat?

thanks
d

Wasn't the case when i brought the car (was removed before I got it) as got mot a month after having it and it passed fine

Tested since February? Wouldn't take my car there....

Won't matter that it was like that when you bought it; will have had one when new!

I would say that the gasses are not the best thing to be taking in,,, Windows down in summer - have you not got A/C like?
