Has anyone changed theirs?

i am looking at doing mine soon. I was just curious as to which oil is reccomended as I read that Audi/VW don't actually have a grade for their oil? I'm ordering from Opie so would be handy if they sell some I can use. Or I have some Millers CRX 75w-90 if that's good?
Am I right in thinking its a hex key to drain and fill/level? Both torqued to approx 40nm?

I've also read people saying things about how it fills the diff also etc, is there any working practice or procedure that should be followed to ensure oil is fully circulated etc.

thanks.

When I changed mine after changing the clutch I was advised to use genuine Audi oil so that's what I did. If you simply drain the gearbox then this won't do anything with the diff as that's at the back. The transfer box has oil in it but that has its own drain and fill plug so that should be fine as well.

Thanks for the reply mate.

Do you know if the Bevel box drains seperately? I was reading up on the 8l and they were saying theirs drained seperate but filled through the gearbox.

The manual gearbox isn't stated as Audi state the oil in the manual gearbox is good for the life of the car.
It's personal discression as to whether you wish to change it or not.
