New S3

Hi guys,
Well I've just put in my order for a new S3,which they say will arrive near the end of July.
I have never bought a brand new car before and was wondering if there are any real DO's and DONT's for the S3 in specific.
I currently own a Vauxhall Astra diesel Sri, so I know upkeep will be totally different

Welcome to the forum. What spec have you gone for on your new car?

I can't say for the 8V but I'm a firm believer in driving a new car hard from new once the oil has fully warmed up to run it in. If this isn't you chosen method then try not keep the revs steady (cruising on motorway at 3,000rpm for example) for a good thousand miles.

Monsoon grey
Manual transmission
Rear privacy
Comfort pack
Sat nav-sd
Standard twin spoke alloys
Contemplated the sound system, but chose to keep standard. Hopefully won"t regret
