hello all,

currently got a audi a3 8l 1.8t running a ko3s stock turbo at the moment with a THS front mount intercooler, full de cat back custom exhaust system form powerflow, forge splitter valve, uprated red ignition coils and plugs, nuespeed induction kit with heat shield, forge turbo induction hose, 4 bar fuel pressure regulator with a ESC stage 1 lightened sold mass flywheel and race clutch.

it has been remapped by AMD tuning in essexc stage 2 live rolling road remap creating 222.9bhp and 264.6 lb/ft torque.

The time has come where I'm bored of it and the need for more power has come. I've been highly looking into a k300 from beach buggy turbos what other mods would i need to make full use of it.

or can anybody else suggest any other turbo options...

thanks

Well rods springs to mind seeing as you never mentioned that if your wanting more power, that should be the first thing on your list.
But I believe Dan @ BBT is taking a step back from the hybrids due to work commitments.
Also worth mentioning that a good manifold is a must to get the best out of any hybrid, Like B5 cast high flow mani for example.
Clutch is gonna need upgrading too.
Bigger FMIC.
B5 3" TIP
Id stick that 3 Bar FPR back in as it'll be asking too much from that old oem fuel pump.
Descent set of injectors but the cc will depend on what power you got in mind, in fact all of the above is all dependent on what power you wanting??

K300, Port the stock manifold helps them..
without rods, get it mapped to a sensible level...

Good turbos..
larger injectors required.. I use 550's

Badger 5 I have been trying to call you all week. How much for remap? What is a sensible level?

hopefully BBT will be back in action at some point. if/when my k03s gives up on me (still going strong at 90000 miles) i will be looking at a hybid
