I'm going to be storing the S3 for the summer months so I can give my other car a good run out.
Decided to get it detailed so that it's good and ready when the time comes to unleash it again (probably in 5-6 months).
Here are a few pics at the detailer:

Looks fantastic, particularly like the silver roof rails. Are you going to cover it during storage?

Never heard of anyone storing a car over the summer before! Whats the other car?

I've tried indoor covers before and don't really get on with them.
I am in the next couple of weeks going to lay a tiled floor in my garage which should cut off most of the dust.

It won't be 100% full time storage! I'll take it out every now and again to keep it ticking over, as I've done with the SLK.

Looks great
I've painted my garage and put down a rubber floor which stops 99% of the dust
Besides mine is a daily driver so gets filthy anyway haha

Polished Bliss in Kintore.
They are very good.
Fully booked until October.

Top detailers !
Thought i recognised the inside of their garage in your pics

When I saw the pic of the Macca I thought that was going to be your summer car!

Apparently the guy who has the P1 also has an Enzo and F40.
I have no idea what kind of daily he'd have, probably a helicopter..........

Nice 'N' glossy, top job by the detailer looks good

I'll drive it for you over the summer months if you want, keep everything fine and free!!! :whistle2:

It'll be Paul bailey I'm guessing, he's made a fortune off some mobile phone app/function and has an extensive collection. I did for some reason think his p1 was orange could be wrong though.

He's the secret supercar owner in Evo isn't he? I thought his was orange too as it's always in road tests with the plate P4UL B. There's another black one that's always in tests too P1 OOV wonder who's that is and how he made his fortune?!

Yea that's him then his must be orange. Think the P1OOV is a mclaren press car I've read a review somewhere that says it's done 40,000km and still like new. Doubt any owner would cover that mileage in their 'million' pound toy. That Paul Bailey sold something to do with conference calling either an app or a function for phones not too sure. Either way I wouldn't mind been a quid behind him!

Nice one Craig - car looks great and good idea getting it detailed prior to storage.

Any pics of the SLK ? :photo:

Be interested to see pics of your tiled floor too when you have done it, as that is something I would like to do at some point and will avoid having to paint the floor every couple of years and will look great !

SLK AMG Craig?

SLK here. Old picture.

Just had a wheel refurb done today and then it's heading up to Polished Bliss for the same treatment the S3 got soon.
Really like this car; looks great, sounds incredible, goes well (fun factor is huge) and has bags of character.

I'll get the tiles done during a week off in May I think.
The product looks like it will work well though.

Here's where I got it:

Garage Flooring - UK manufactured garage floor tiles.

I've had my floor tiles in a stacked in a big pile in the corner of garage for 5 years. You've just inspired me to get them laid this weekend :)
