Just wanting peoples opinions.

What's the exact wheel and tyre sizes ? Also the et?

Wheels are 19x8.5 ET45 with 3mm spacers.

Tyres are 235/35/19 but rears catch so gonna remove the screw in the arch and see if that helps...if not think I'm gonna go for 225/35/19 tyres because I need new ones anyways and see if this sorts the problem.

I'm sure RS3's run 225s on rear and 235s on front too.

Interesting...they go well with the colour of your car..

They're genuine are they not?

I think they are reps for what I paid for them. Don't think the genuine ones are same size as what mine are.

Cool, do you get rubbing on the rear with just you in the car? The fronts never rub no?

Front don't rub at all mate. It doesn't rub on back until you hit a ditch in road or go round a corner hard. Hopefully taking that screw out will solve that...if not 225 tyres I think

Ok cheers

Yeah hopefully one of those will be your solution.

You can't take them off...they look proper.

Looks soo good how you finding the stoppers?

I'm still undecided with 19s a bit worried about pot holes and what not.

Looks wise I'm sold! Haha

Looks perfect, 18's look too small on rotors, with the RS calipers looks a treat.

When I changed from 18's to 19's there wasn't much in it (obviously). You can see side by side in the picture below the difference is marginal, but the final result is a big improvement:

Also there is less dish on the 18's which look quite flat:

Both yours, and Warren's, look STUNNING! Makes me realise how much I love Sprint Blue, and having a black one, how much I need to consider RS3 rotors! How's the handling?

Firm but not back breaking if you run on 235/25/19 rubber

Superb looks with the rotors. I've decided to go with 19 bbs 8.5 et48 splits, having them fitted tomorrow. I'm interested in fitting the brembos too.
With the OP running et45 with a 3mm spacer, is that effectively an et48? Is the spacer only needed to clear the alloys?

I'm wondering whether I could fit the same brembo setup as the OP but without the need for spacers?

Superb looking motors there guys.

Brakes work awesome! It's got standard pads in at the minute I'm toying with idea of yellow stuff as they are only £69 compared with the ferodo ds2500 which are £190 😔

I'm sure et45 with a 3mm spacer would make it ET42? Anyone else know if this is correct?
I only needed the spacer for the spoke to clear the calliper.

Your right et45 and a 3mm spacer is the same as et42

Yours looks very good on the 19's

I'd have thought that the rotor shape alloy wouldn't need a spacer? Maybe il just get the brakes, me use 3mm spacers on mine bringing it down to et45 which should be fine. Hmmmmm...!

Love the color. Bought a 2010 in silver not because i like the color but because couldn't find other car in better condition. Fast cars deserve a little color!

looks stunning this pal id love some 19" rotors or reps next

Well I have the BBS splits fitted and wound the coil overs down a touch, looks and rides a treat!

Ive had the wheels refurbed in a dark anthracite, using 235 tyres which only seem to rub on the drivers rear a touch..?!

Let me know what you think, better pics to follow!

This looks stunning. Any news on the rubbbing issue?

Thanks!

Rubbing has gone, took the arch bolt out and a little tweaking of the one further back and alls well!

Great news. You have certainly inspired me to do this! Any chance of a picture from the side to show the concave/dish of the wheels?

Makes you laugh when you think the 19's look so right on the S3 8P, yet evolution has not seen fit to grant this option on the new S3 8V (Hatch or Sportbacks). Only on saloon version can you spec 19's. The option wheel on the Astra VX-R is a 20" ***, Audi need a good kick up the **** wheel wise.

This is mine on H&R 35mm springs and 19" Rotor reps :)

I think I need new brakes !
