Hi, when blanking the egr is it best to fit one plate at one end of the pipe, plates at both ends and remove pipe, also do I disconnect either or both of the rubber hoses, block them off etc, cheers

I only used one plate at first & blanked pipe. Now I have 2 plates and removed whole egr with no problems. But it feels the same as one plate did.
What about the rubber hose, I'm sure I read on here somewhere that you take one of them off and push a bolt in it the plug it??

If ur going to blank,mgt as well blank both and be done with egr pipe,yes block the other hose with a fat golf tee or similar,not the anti shudder valve
So deano once I've blocked the hose do I just leave the nipple on the top of the egr as is or block that also.

Block it also, cut abit of hose u just blocked,or something similar and put it the over egr nipple,so u can block that too.
