audi s3 on long life service 2003

would you touch an audi s3 on long life? Its on 65k and has 6 service stamps in the book, so 10k intervals. Whats your opinions?
 
Yes I would, assuming the car looks like it's been cared for & runs nicely. I'd certainly not continue with a 2-yearly service interval, but I see no reason not to consider it from what you've said.
 
ok thank you. Would you suggest I clean the oil pipe if i buy it? Also would it be worth changing the oil pump as well? Heard they are £1800, is that true?
 
You mean the oil pick-up pipe? Yes, I'd definitely clean or replace that.

If it has been serviced every 10k then hows it on long life? Unless you mean the oil? In which case I still dont understand the potential problem..
 
I think the concern is that this is an 11-year old car which has only been serviced 6 times (i.e. roughly every 2 yrs), even though it's only covered 65k. But I'm with you, this isn't a major issue assuming it drives nicely.
