The "Rimz" Thread ** Look here before requesting pics of specific wheels**

Is the above wheels a genuine Audi wheel ? .i need a set in my life asap

I have looked online for these rims with no luck so far . Anyone know a supplier ?

I think the guy is French, so that's probably why you can't find them.

He posted a link to where he bought them further back with the original post, site was French though so not sure if they ship to the uk.

Thank you A3 Black . I will look back @that post

they could also be s8 wheels, i believe the s8 came with them as a 19" option (but i could be wrong)

HI
I have done some searching and can't really find an answer so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
I have just bought an 09 plate A3 TDi quattro S line Black edtion , and bought some rotor 19" copy wheels off ebay , ET of 42 with 235 tyres , its on standard suspension at the moment , but fitting one of the front wheels the tyre was out of the arch by a good 10-15mm when looking from the front down the side of the car , seen some other cars running these wheels that have been lowered and seem to fit nicely in the arch's.

All the ones I can find on ebay all seem to have the same offset , and all say over the phone this is the only one we sell and no one else has said they don't fit.

Will it be I'm just running it too high and its needs lowering to look and fit right , or different offset wheels and narrower tyres ?

Any help pointing me in the right direction would very welcome
lol

Cheers Ian

On ebay . Being reps is not ideal .but i will try them i think they will look nice with car lowered

Does anyone know which alloys these are? Audi said they might be an upgrade at some point? Interested as ideally want some rotors.

Alright guys,

In a pickle... I want to buy 17'' Schmidt TH-Line 2pc for my 8p 2010 audi a3 sportback, but have never put anything lower than 18s on the car, I haven't lowered it, yet. but, need to buy a set of rims urgently as I have 19'' concept one wheels on my car the rears are 19x10 which are eating my arch. so what do you think 17s or get a set of 18's (maybe a satin black set of 3dsm 0.01). really need help on this one.

thank you.

Hey im looking for some help with rims.
Ive got the -09 ibis model and wonder what type of rims i can get,im a total noob about this. ive got people that can help me install them i just need to know what dimensions etc i can get.

I have been thinking about the XXR 527 Rims 19" is that something that would fit? what numbers should i be focusing on? will i be able to lower the car when they are installed?

If you are going for 19s you will want 19x8.5 et45 really to lower it aswell

do you know where to buy some new chrome wheels for my A3 sb '07?
I think I've searched all most everywhere, but apparently it's not "hot" to have these rims now a days ... searched for Barracuda Tzunamee/Voltec T6- ASA AR1-...
I did think of the Mandrus Millennium rims too, but the offset is only in 43mm for a 8.5x19", think it's too wide then....
What would be the right offset for 8.5" rim, are we talking 45 or 48mm?

What width is the the wheel? anything upto 8.5 should be just about OK, may cause a bit of rubbing with 235 section tyres (225's are apparently the recommended max size).

Did you have the car up on a trolley jack as the wheels stick out more like that?

Just before the WIDEBODY RS3 Project starts on :)

I've been thinking about a set of these for a while now.. Probably in 19" but I'm not sure yet.

EDIT: URL didn't want to work so had to attach the photo, can be enlarged if clicked obviously.

I have 3dr S3 with H&R springs and would like to get some 19 wheels.

Have two choises, first one is 19x8.5 ET42. Will it fit nicely with 225/35 R19? Or they will look too wide and will rub?

Second one is 19x9 ET52. Would use maybe 235/35 R19, dont like too much strech. Will it look fine or will it rub? Is it possible that ET52 and 9 wide will rub against the suspension/struts?

Usually drive alone or with one passenger, once in a while with 3 passengers. Roads are bad :)

I am lowered on eibach springs with 225/35/19 8.5 wide and et42 which sit perfectly in the arch and do not rub. There is a bit of stretch on the tyres but still looks nice

Do you have Eibach front springs only? Do you have any pictures?

Im ready to change H&R springs to Eibach fronts(and OEM rear), cause H&R rears are pretty low and really dont want any rubbing issues.

Eibach on front and standard on rear will not only look silly the ride will be absolute crap! You have to remember that the new springs react differently and better than the standard ones on corners.
Here are some pics of mine

Opinions on these autostrada monza 18" alloys for the audi S3? Fully refurbished, powder coated, polished lips with new bolts and custom centre caps?

Likey or no Likey
