Have been given my delivery date...next Friday!!
That's just over a month from order to delivery. Probably makes me the luckiest and most hated man on here!
Compromised on *** but totally worth it! Shame my outgoing Golf decided to blow it's water pump at the weekend. One final £400 send off!

Me and my GF placed a order on a S3 at week 6, building it planed at week 14 atm, delayed due to our colour.
I will try to spec it as best i can below:

Since the Swedish configurator diffrent allot from the one in UK i tried to buildour car as best as i could in the UK one

I placed a order @ week 6 and I recently heard from my dealer who said build date for week 23, and then got moved up to build week 21 that is now confirmed for our S3 Sepang Blue Saloon to Sweden.

While for us in Australia, we remain in limbo, Audi Australia has confirmed orders for S3 sedan in Sepang blue can be placed for week 15, but there isn't any slots available, so for us it's likely well after week 22, and then once we get a build date, it will still be a 4 months wait until delivery.
I have just ordered my A3 Saloon S-line in daytona grey with Audi Stereo upgrade and I have build wee 26. Looking at getting car in 4 months

ordered a A3 cab S Line with a fair few extras.....paid my deposit way back start of December..... delivery end of June...can't say i'm overly happy about it.
took delivery of an S3 Sportback 2 weeks ago, but was offered this last week..
Deal done and should be here in 4 weeks as it was the dealers demo car..

I must admit, when I heard they were doing an A3 saloon I actually thought they wouldn't look nice.
Even after seeing the first few pics I didn't think they looked nice.
But seeing one in the flesh and seeing the pics you guys are posting, they're really lovely!

Bought a 4 month old 2.0TDI S-Line in Daytona Grey and it's gorgeous !!
It came with the comfort/storage luggage pack, so I have the Audi sound system (doesn't sound too far off the Bose I had in my 2005 A3 Sport), SD sat nav, rear parking sensors, light/rain sensors and cruise control.
Its a joy to drive and has a cabin I'm in no rush to leave.
Feels nipper and slightly wider than old 3 door, the E brake took a day to get used to (of course I didn't read the manual) but it's very neat.
Love the minimalist cabin, MMI is superb and the angry all day LEDs look the business.
It's getting some looks too as there aren't too many about.
Decided on this v a year old A4 avant as we have a nipper on the way and the boot is big enough.
My practical side said no, but I knew every time id see a A3 saloon I'd be thinking I should have gone for it and so I did and it's an absolute pleasure to drive.
To say I'm delighted is an understatement, would love the S3 but I'm more than happy to settle for this as I have other priorities coming up

Further to this, having just spoke to Pendragon have said to me that the Saloon will now be build week 31 for mid October delivery?! The sportback is not much better at build week 29 apparently!
Highly annoying enough to make me think about changing my order to a Golf GTD
After months of negotiating with Audi dealers who weren't really offering much of a deal (I went with DTD) I have ordered the following:-

My order is a very similar spec to yours, I placed the order at the end of jan with delivery around mid may. Its just gone back to mid July. When I asked my lex rep to have a look for alternatives, he basically said there is no stock at all and audi literally cannot keep up or have the parts to keep up due to the popularity of them. If you think a gtd would be quicker, they are on a 30 week lead time.
Exactly what I have on order! Glad it looks good, which alloys did it have on? I left mine with the standard 19" but the optional 19" did tempt me.
Standard 19" same as the white one posted above, i think they look bang on.
I think you will be very happy with it,the saloon really is a cracking looking car, best choice IMO.
I can see them becoming very popular once a few are on the road.
