Alrite folks...

I posted this up on our Facebook page the other day so thought I would share the love over here!! I use my iPhone a lot for work and it's always losing power when I'm out and about.

Great to keep in the car / bag...
Charge your phone up nearly 6x with this compact power bank!

Anker 13000mAh battery for phones/tablets etc
£19.99 with the code BYPKPCS9 at checkout.

Normally £99!

Thats a good price and they are defo worth it.

I have a different one that the wife uses for her iphone, it holds about 5 full charges, which is great!!

I can't think of a time when I'd really need one but I'm a sucker for a bargain! Ordered :)

Yes Jameze!!

I too got suckered in by the bargain. I'm always out and about and either away from my car or haven't got a power cable so this is going to be ideal. I'm always taking photos with it too and can easily rip all my juice in half a day!!

With kids its imperative you have one of these!!

My son can use my phone for a while in the morning playing games and by the time I get to work at 9am, im already on about 65%!!!

Ha.. That is a good reason.

Well I have ordered not 1 but three. One to keep with the mac, one at work and one to give to the woman!!

Used it quite a bit so far and done a few charges and still going strong. Overall - Very impressed!!

Who else has ordered one?

I've come up with a use for mine... on the rare occasions when I forget to charge my PS4 controller I can attach it and not have to worry about being sat next to my console whilst the controller charges as I play.

First world problems :)

Did you have to do two separate transactions? When I tried to order more than one it wouldn't apply that code and discount...

Yep, had to do it twice. Signed up for Amazon prime too, so bonus of free next day deliveries for the next month.

Yeah I have been on Prime for two years now and the free next day shipping has more than paid for the £50 a year.

However, with them now launching their streaming service and bumping it to £79. This is an obligiatory service that you can't opt out of. So if you want Prime delivery, you HAVE to have video streaming. I use Netflix so don't need this. Shame really...

I don't order enough to justify keeping Prime beyond the month's trial, so have already cancelled the auto renew/start of the paid service. Will order a few other bits and pieces over the next few weeks and make the most of the free period though.

No worries chap...

Happy to help! Seems like quite a few have gone for it now! No idea why they are giving away the discount code. lol.

I got myself one, thanks Cruiser :icon_thumright:
The flashlight is a great idea on there too.

So I received mine this morning... all looks good... looks smart, well built, comes with a little carry pouch and USB cable.

It's easy to use.. just plug it into your device, press a button and off it goes... happily charging away.

But while we're on the subject of charging, let's just talk about its ability to charge. My phone was on 86% and it's taken about 10 mins to charge it to 87%. So 1% in 10 mins.... Hopefully this isn't how it's always going to be.

My phone is an LG G2 so has quite a hefty 3000mah battery, but I would still expect it to charge quicker than this.

Will report back how long it takes to charge the remaining 13% to full.

Ok, in the last few minutes there has been a jump in charge up to 94%, so looking a lot better.

Will have to see how it gets on charging a dead battery, but the signs are looking good at the moment.

I got one as well, for the rare occasion where I'm away from any power….
Thanks for the info Cruiser!

Which port did you use? 1A or 2A?

I use 2A on my iPhone 5 and it's pretty rapid!

Yeah 1A is a standard charge for most normal items. 2A allows more power. Used for iPads and bigger phones etc. Have a look at the USB plugs and you will see:

Out 1A

Out 2A

Kapeesh?

Look?? What.. with my eyes??? At the little oblong shaped holes????

;)

I'm up to speed on 1A vs 2A, just didn't realise this unit had both. Bargain.

Also just ordered one, thanks for the heads up cruiser

Ordered one myself for that price. Been looking at them for ages.

So what do we all think then so far?

I have been using my solidly all week to try it out rather than my desk charger and must say I'm impressed. Without charging the unit and it's initial charge from factory I have had about 7 or 8 charges and a few bump ups in between.

For £20 it's doing pretty well :)

I ordered one of these, and was in Finland with work last week. I took my charger as a backup, but only used this all week. It's nice having the flexibility.

Charged my phone from 55% to full in an hour this morning. Not far off of mains charger speed.

Best £20 of my employer's money I've ever spent.

In fact, it's so good that I'm going to buy a second one just so I can charge the first one if it runs out of charge when I'm out and about.

I'll be honest, I've bought it and not actually used it! I took it out of the box to look at and put it back. I only bought it because I'm a sucker for a bargain, not because I have an active need for one! :(

It looks nice though :)

I've got a nice brick for sale if you're interested. It usually costs about £600 but it's yours for the bargain price of £200.

Let me know.

Don't be silly, that's far too cheap! It must be stolen!? I have a conscience.

Things always feel so much better when you spend money on stuff that you haven't paid for! :D

Should get a ring of them to support each other!! :D

I have just ordered one of these for the misses, as most evenings she moans her battery is nearly flat, & shes not allowed to charge it at work as the charger is not pat tested.

Thanks for the heads up! Even tho I came along late, I still managed to grab a deal!
