Sorry i know this may have been covered a few times, but i couldnt find anything!!

Will soon be the proud owner of a b6 quattro avant, but cant make me mind up between 18s or 19s, all thoughts appreciated, pics of yours will be even better

Cheers

18's for me mainly due to family and tyre cost, but would love 19's

I'm also running 19's on my avant, they just look right.

Have had at least 3 different sets of 18's on mine and wasn't ever really happy about how they filled the arches, now on 19's and they look so much better.
19 x 8 with ET of 35 and 245x35x19 tyres, stock S4 suspension set up, no rubbing, also the ride is no harsher on the 19's than the 18's.

I was running 19' RS4 reps but due to me travelling 600 miles a weekend, these were just not ideal, so I purchased some genuine 18' Ronal 5 arm (RS6) wheels. So much better ride quality and looks better IMO :) all depends on your views and travelling mate :)

I'm in the 500+ mile per week 19" crew too plus it's lowered (of course), feels fine and looks damn fine.

Def 19s

I only so 200 to 300 a week but 18s dont fill the arch enough for me

19's here - Perfect size for the B6 in my opinion.

I'm running 19s RS4 reps on mine which came with with the car but don't really like the ride quality. So I'm going to get rid

raffhussain, what size tyres, 235's?

Think I may have to get a set of 19's after reading through this thread. Certainly suit the b6

I'd certainly consider 19's on summer tyres if you're confident about your roads... but nothing over 17's for winter.

Got me self some rs6 19s on the way. Second hand and a bit of a bargain but will see when they get ere!

Noticed yours is sat pretty low. Coliovers or springs? How far is it dropped?

Its on Weitec Hicon GT coilovers (made by KW) - not sure how far iv lowered it, but it sits nice - hardly any scraping and the ride quality is really good - no knocks, bangs or crashy ride.

Gone for springs and shocks me self, -30mm, will see how it sits with me 19's on, WHEN THEY ALL ARRIVE lol

19" wheels do look nice however 18" wheels look nice too with the added benefit of practicality.

19's all the way,had the sport 17's on when i bought it and can honestly say didnt notice much difference when replacing like you do with low profile tyres and bumps, potholes etc!
mine had 225 stretched across and i scuffed the rims everywhere i went now as theyve worn ive replaced them all with 235 or 245 cant remember but got a load of part worn dunlops and conti's for £35 each and they had like 7-8mm on them!!

18s for winter , oem sline rs6 refurbed and coloured in BMW gunmetal .

I prefer the summer look , 19 BBS CH reps ,

Lowered on kw coilovers .

These are 18".. My previous winter wheels (running 16" now 😖😭)
Think they look alright..

18's on mine too.. Me personally wouldn't go any bigger but depends on the power ya have too.. Mine is 130bhp and I wouldn't put 19's on it.. If she was 160+ I would consider it
