When I was looking to order my car one of the options I struggled with was the choice of interior. I posted questions on the forum to see if anyone had any shots of this particular combination but no one did. As my last car was black leather with ally inlays I was keen to try something different this time so I decided to turn it on it's head. I must admit that I was quite apprehensive about how well it would work but I'm relieved to be able to report that I'm more than happy with the outcome. Many of you will think that it's a bit bling-bling I know but for those of you that are interested here are the pictures. Personally, I'm finding that I love it. There are plenty of pics on here of Estoril blue cars so I'll spare you the exterior shots. Enjoy!

Stunning mate, although I dont fancy keeping it clean. Whats the plan for that?

Nice! I was considering going for the light interior as well, looks good! In the end, Alcantara in black actually looks more like a charcoal grey which I really like

No plan as of yet, except for maybe admitting defeat and threatening my children with Saudi style punishments. The detailer did put the Gtechniq leather protection on but not sure how long that'll last. I generally only do about 6k miles a year driving to and from work mostly so not too worried. We normally use the other car in the house as the family car.

Looks good ! , exactly the same as mine. I have done 4k miles, and they are holding up well, very easy to keep clean. Not so sure what damp dark blue jeans would do though.

Blue jeans would require a lot of maintaining . Had star silver valcona leather on a 5 . Looked great but jeans left blue all the time and had to travel with cloth and cleaner... Hence gone back to black

Like that a lot, very refreshing change from black.

I've ordered something similar in my next car and will be keeping leather cleaner / cloth in the boot (as I wear jeans most of the winter).

The silver S5 seats are ok to keep clean with leather cleaner ( I used autoglym ) but think silver Alcantara may be rather less practical. As S3 is for Mrs to use too and she dislikes full leather the Leather/Alcantara combo is a good compromise. Shame they don't do the perforated version.

I got the lunar...it's really great.
Most of the cars usually have the black interior. It's nice but a bit "booring" I think.
I have now had the car for a bit over a month. Been sitting in it with blue jeans, black without "coloring" issues.
And the alcantra is really easy to clean... And also the light color is nice in the summer heat ;)

Here are some pics

Had my red one with silver interior for 4 months now and no marking yet

Thanks Leeber. This is the combo I've wanted since seeing the options and for some reason it seems a rare choice and haven't seen it before. My local dealer has tons of S3s about and I don't think I've seen one with the 3D black and only a few with the silver.

I've placed my order today for the same lunar and black inlay. Looks great

I was thinking the same … must be pretty slim I guess lol.

The picture is deceiving.
The drivers door can open a couple of feet there..,......but I still have some felt pads on the wall just in case.
