My handbrake stuck on tonite on my a4 b8 And had to get the aa out ! Took the motor off as the brackets had been snapped ! He says looked like somebody had been at it possibly to steal it ! Now its knackered and need to know ! Where i can get one and approxitly how much they are any help who be good

Audi would be the best place to get a new unit.

Or there's a possible second hand part on Ebay from an Audi Q5 which according to Etka is the same part number (8K0998281).

Link.

Same part number for either side so there's no left or right needed as long as you just get the motor. The calipers might be different sides.

Got one today from ebay 40 quid so not as bad as tps wanted 260 plust vat
