Hi all

Pick up my B8 Friday (happy days), moving from my extensively modded B7, already trawled the B8 section for modding ideas.... oh no here we go again lol, the B7 sits higher on the front, is it the same with the B8

'09 2.0 Tfsi (211bhp) sline sat on 19" Speedlines (are these standard on this car) currently looking at these

AUDI A4 (8K2, B8) 1.8 TFSI, 2.0 TFSI, 2.0 TDI Eibach Sportline Lowering Springs | eBay

Thoughts or alternative ideas

TIA

Yeah a lot of people who don't want to go down the route of coilovers go for these and seem happy with them, I run coilovers though as the springs just aren't low enough for me plus im sure I will be corrected if I'm wrong but they do leave the front sat a little higher than the rear and I couldn't cope with that lol my coilovers were fitted before Christmas but will be getting removed in the next couple of months for air ride fitting...

Cheers pal, pm'd

Silly question but how much lower do these springs take the car down by?

I know for the S line sports suspension it's already lowered by 20mm, these springs says 'Lowers Front 45 mm & Rear 35 mm'.
So if removing the sports suspension, and putting these in would it lower them by another 25 mm front & 15 mm rear?

Anyone got a pic of their sline with 19" wheels lowered on the Eibach 45/35mm springs

TIA

Mac

I'm interested to see a picture too, is that the Eibach pro kit or sports kit?

ayup macdoon i know its not an s line but i have a 2009 2.0tfsi se version lowered on the eibach sportsline kit , i also have 19 alloys running staggered fit et 45 , 9.5 wide on rear and 8.5 wide on front ,tyres are 255/35/19 .i have had no rubbing/scrubbing issues and have been fitted for over a year now

Hello pal, looks great, liking the de-chrome too. trawling google for pics and still can't find a pic dropped on sline lol

Still be the exact same drop as you are replacing the suspension so wether it be an sline or an SE it will still look the same.

yer should still sit same height as mine but will lower yours less as your arch gap is lower as standard ,but would still sit around the height of mine above .
