Running wires for a sub...

Hi. I bought one of these TS-WX710A Space-Saving Flat Amplified Subwoofer (200W) - Pioneer Speakers, Subwoofers a while back and had it fitted in my scooby. Fitting it was pretty easy in that. However in the new car im wondering how i get the plastic cover off under the windscreen to assist me in passing the wires through to the passenger side foot well. Can anyone help a little? Is it just a matter of removing a few screws?
