Pics of 18" RS6 wheels on B6??

I thought I had loads of pics but when I looked through my photo albums I found I only had these fitted on my car from between March 2005 and Nov 2006 before I put RS4 reps on.

My RS6 reps (as per these pics) are for sale if you want to make an offer. They've sat doing nothing since Nov 2006 and all the tyres need replacing (or very nearly need replacing).

cheers for that mate! it looks really nice with them on! av been offered a set allready at a good price off my mate with almost new tyres so going to go for them i think. cheers for the offer anyway :icon_thumright:

I've just noticed the difference in the Millteks out the back of the car comparing the cold first pic with the hot last two pics! :faint:

The great thing about them is they're a lot easier to clean that just about any other wheels out there!:icon_thumright:

Nah!!! Wait a bit until they're gone and then buy mine! ;)

Were these ever an optional extra on a b6 cab s4?

I've spotted one and the owner tells me it was like that when he bought it, says they a are genuine with a spare as well!?

As far as I understand it these wheels only ever came standard on B6 S-Line's, fitted to any other B6 they would be a retrofit. I'm not 100% about the cabs as they have many spec idiosyncrasies compared to the saloon/avant...

Looks good, what did or does it look like with the RS4 reps on?

surely you mean B7 s-lines? apology if im wrong

Apology accepted

B6 S-Lines were released at the end of the model line, all were 1.8T 190's and had various body and styling features to make them stand out. Not like the B7's where every other one you see is an S-Line and they seem to have lost the exclusivity.

I would be amazed if someone changed them as a mod that they would get a spare full size as well?

From what I can remember from my time at Audi, all S4 models on the B6 did not have any wheel options, over than either 17 or 18" as the S4 Avus wheel was unique to the model ….

Fresh from being detailed mate. Gunmetal alloys

Looks immaculate! Those gunmetal alloys look great! My wheels need refurbed and I'm thinking gunmetal alloys like this will complement my Akoya Avant nicely!

Gunmetal RS6's do look good, as do silver ones... they're just a great wheel that seem to suit any car!

Any excuse to post a pic....

my RS6 coughrepscough 18x8

Bought new darker centre caps for them the other day when the fakes had fallen apart. Love the new look.

Also agreed there the easiest to clean wheel I've ever had.

Standard sport suspension? Looks good, gives me an idea of what my avant would look like with RS6 18's!

Yep standard sport suspension. I would like to lower the front a little eventually but otherwise very happy with the stance.

Cheers.

I think the S-Line optional wheels on the B6 1.8T were only 17" versions of the RS6 alloy.

Chances are if he has 5 wheels, then they are OEM retrofitted from somebody who wanted different (lighter / bigger / smaller winter) alloys on their RS6 and sold the full set on.

I doubt any reps would be sold in 4's.... they're usually cutting corners wherever possible.

Here's a whole bunch of 190 s-lines I found on auto trader, all with 18" RS6 wheels...

Pretty sure a lot of them rolled out of the dealership with these wheels. Though I have seen some 190's with the 17" star wheels, and mine came with 17" stars too.

i guess the S-Line B6 worked perfectly than. SO when all these guys went to order a B7 they loved the S-Line spec :)

All S-Lines came with 18" RS6 style wheels as standard, I promise....
