Alright guys, time has come to say goodbye to my S3 - I've dreamt of owning one since about 13 and it's an absolute pleasure to have and use on an almost daily basis. Just want to say thanks for everyone's help whilst I've been on here, really awesome community to be part of.

Thanks Alex, really enjoyed reading through your build thread - was kind of hoping to maybe put more work into mine but it's getting to a pretty hefty mileage on the clock now and need to recoupe at least some cost of it. I'll still be on the forum but more in the TT section ;)

I'd love to buy it, the seats alone! When I got rid of my 07 R32 the biggest thing I missed were those Rs4 style seats!

Wish you could, rather it go to someone on here. Yep, absolutely loved the buckets in the S3 - going to be looking for some TTRS ones soon although they appear to be like gold dust at the moment and don't fancy paying £4600 for some.

Before I sold me R32 I was trying to find some cheap Golf Gti regular seats that I was going to put in it and then keep the Rs4 style seats for the A3 SB I currently have, came close to finding the right ones in a breakers yard for only €400 but deal fell thru.

Shame as I think those seats in A3 8P SB would be uber rare!
 
May be able to get hold of a pair of rs4 seats , I'm sure my pal wanted to sell his ones .

Yeah the RS4 ones are nice too but probably going to stick to look for the TTRS ones as it'll help with resale value if the seat are the ones that are meant to come with the car

Yeah it will help the resale for sure.

my pal has the seats in his golf R at the moment , stage 4 golf R might I add lol it's unreal and he still wants more out of it.. Has lamborgini gallardo brakes and all sorts on it.
 
There goes the S3, lusted after one since I was about 13 and has been everything and more than I expected, what a machine - Super fortunate to have owned one. Couldn't watch it drive away.

Cracking looking car!

May be slightly bias but still, stunning. It will be hard day when/if it comes to selling it.
