Good morning!

I just thought I'd show my small mod I did with the dash air vents.

Replacing the 4 standard one's with TT mark 2 ones.

I found them online for £10 each.

Surprisingly it only took me about 10 mins to do and was really easy.

That looks really good! Have you got a link for the parts? Do the old ones just pull out?

Yep the old ones came out real easy.
I used a plastic spatula and a credit card, working them around the outside and pulling them forward. I turned the vent to half way between open and closed before attempting to remove them.
The site I sourced them from was partshark

Does look a lot better. I did the same on my old A3 but with the mark 1 TT vents
 
Agree with you Andy.
I looked at mark 1 ones first but they needed a bit of work on the back so opted for the mark 2's lol!!
 
A cheap yet stunning and easy to do mod :applaus:
 
get the TT gear nob too to go with it
 
I done the same mod and prefer the mk2 TT vents to the just full chrome versions of the A3/S3 :)

also like Andy1608 has mentioned about the TT gear Knob it would look great but im holding that off till my next A3 as mine only goes up to 5th gear not 6th lol

probably cheaper ones if you look around but normally see them for around the 40-65 range just to give you some ideas :)
 
That's a very good point, could always just pretend you have 6 or go Jeremy Clarkson on it, he'd just get a black pen and colour the 6th gear out lol
 
I found the parts on there and saw what supplier was selling them and then contacted the place directly mate.
