Hi. I have my newly coated wheels in the shed with no tyres on them.
What's the best polish or treatment or wax to keep them in good condition?
And is it better to detail them before mounting the tyres?
Many thanks.

I would get tyres fitted first then wax them after, just incase the wax stops the balance weights from sticking. As for wax Angelwax wheel wax is very good and you can get it from brodster(brotek) on here.

Hi, I had mine done not long ago and i applied approx. 5 coats of Poorboy's Wheel Sealant (pink) and i find it keeps the brake dust from binding and they look amazing after cleaning.

I would certainly lay a few coats down prior to the tyres being fitted whilst they are off the car then once they are fitted you will need to clean them again anyway as they will be covered in tyre goo then add some more coats of the Wheel Sealant for extra protection.

It's well worth the effort.

HTH.

I put gtechniq C5 on mine 6 months ago and they are still going strong. They are really easy to clean. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1391790499785154
