Well I'm looking forward to getting back to Blighty and having my first pint in 6 months.

I tried a new Lager from the Glasgow based West Brewery last year called St Mungo's and it has to be up there with as one of my favourites. It's a Scottish take on the German Pilsners and VERY good!

Some of my other favourite lagers are Peroni, Estrella, Bitburger and Veltins. I quite like the German/Czech Pilsners.

What's your favourite beer or lager?

Estrella is GOOD! My favs in order are

1) Budweiser
2) Bravaria
3) Corona
4) Estrella
5) Sagres

Try some polish beers: Tyske, Lech, Zywietz, Warka,etc... The original Czech Budwar is very, very good...

I like some of the brewdog beers, they have quite a few these days, they used to do one called the hardcore ipa, was around 10-12% iirc but still refreshing

My list;

1 - Punk IPA (Brewdog beer as Lavis mentioned above)
2 - Budweiser Budvar
3 - Bombardier

Czech / Polish beers are also good, as Adamss24 says - I found them to be the best on a 3-week Euro road trip a few years ago.

I do like Brewdog beers. I'm planning a little visit to their Aberdeen pub when I get back. I did try Nuclear Atomic Penguin, which is the strongest beer in the world at something 55%. Wasn't great tho!
They do a Fake Lager which is really good.

I'm quite sad actuallly and my favourite is good old ' becks' in bottles. No matter where you go in the world it tastes exactly the same .
When I work away in Scotland I like tenants on draft and also Czech budveiser is another I'm keen on.
