Can't remove bulb from holder

I feel a bit silly asking this but can someone tell me how to remove the headlight bulb from the plastic holder on an 09 A3 (non xenon). Taking the holder out of the headlight was easy, but I can't get the bulb out of the actual holder. I've tried pulling and twisting and have had no luck.

Thanks.
 
Ordinary H7? Just pull, can get very 'stuck' due to the heat!
