polen filter location

sorry if this is a stupid question but were is the polen filter on a 1998 B5 Avant 1.8 petrol?

cheers in advance!
 
Open the bonnet. Pull the rubber seal away. Then carefully pull that flat plastic trim towards the front. Its under there on the right
 
It's 1998 so it's PFL and there's no flat plastic trim.
It does not have this:

But it does have this:
Max plast
Second picture shows locations of screws/clips.
